THE RESULTS FROM THE WEEKEND: 10 IN A ROW FOR THE WOMEN'S PRIMAVERA

From Sassuolo to San Marino: the Women's Primavera's tenth consecutive victory was a particular highlight for the Rossoneri Youth Sector at the weekend. The team’s 4-1 win over San Marino Academy means they remain top of the table (three points ahead of Juventus and six in front of Roma) going into the Torneo di Viareggio (Viareggio Cup), which, for the Rossonere, will begin with a match against Australian side APIA Leichhardt on Tuesday 21 March. The U16s, meanwhile, emerged victorious from the derby, extending their lead over second-place Atalanta to four points. There were also important draws for the U18s and U15s. It was a positive weekend for the U17 and U15 women's sides in their respective interregional phases, with many of the youngest teams also coming away with wins.
