The 2022/23 season of AC Milan and its Youth Sector ends with a splendid Scudetto: the plaudits, on the day that traditionally closes the sporting year, are all for the Under-15 Women's team. The Rossonere conquered their first tricolour in the age group - the second, ever, for the AC Milan women's youth teams - beating Inter 3-1 in the Final played in Senigallia. In a game played over three 25-minute periods, the Rossonere went ahead at the start of the second period through Di Falco, while Stendardi scored the goal that put them back in the lead after the momentary Nerazzurre equaliser.
To finish things off, in the final, was a beautiful goal by Tomaselli, which made it 3-1. The same scoreline, curiously enough, as in the Semifinal won on Wednesday 28 June against Napoli: two results, those in the Final Four in the Marche region, that crowned a great year of growth in an excellent season. The success finishes off the year of the youth teams - but also of the whole Italian football, since it was the last Scudetto awarded this season in Italy - and of the Rossoneri Youth Sector, who enjoyed good seasons both in the men's and in the women's teams. The party has just begun for our Under-15s: well done girls!

MATCH REPORT
The Rossonere were proactive right from kick-off, with a series of chances of which the best was a deflected right-footer from Montaperto in the 7th minute, parried by Robbioni. It was the best chance of the first 20 minutes for Prati's team, who conceded little in their own half of the pitch: there was only a direct ball for Sasso in the 15th minute that was well snuffed out by the AC Milan defence. In the 24th minute, as the first half drew to a close, Giulia Rai again denied Sasso, who shot wide after winning it high up the pitch.
The second half started with the Rossonere taking the lead, as in the 27th minute Di Falco put us ahead with a left-footed finish after counter-attack from close range. The goal changed, inevitably, the pace of the match: AC Milan controlled affairs, making themselves dangerous going forward, while Inter tried to respond. After a missed chance by Sasso, the Nerazzurre equalised in the 40th minute with a header by Giudici. The Rossonere's reply was immediate with the goal that restored the lead. In the 43rd minute Montaperto shot from outside the box, Robbioni saved but Stendardi was quick to put it back into the net to make it 2-1.
After two intense periods (especially the second), the third period got off to a slower start. Inter came close with Bescapè, but Rai made a good low save. AC Milan made things comfortable in the 67th minute with the goal that made it 3-1: Hu's fine recovery in midfield, and an assist for the sub Tomaselli who scored with a splendid finish. In the final few minutes, it was again the Rossonere who came close to scoring after Franco hit the post in the first minute of added time. It finished 3-1, AC Milan are crowned champions!
