A second straight league defeat in the space of a few days for the Rossoneri Primavera. After Monza, Bologna also won 2-1 thanks to Ebone's first-half brace. The game developed rather differently compared to the home game last time out, which had gone well before the Brianza fought back. This afternoon, though, the Rossoblù found themselves two goals up before the half-hour mark, with Bonomi's goal in the closings stages a mere consolation. After a not so brilliant performance, we go home with a defeat. It could have gone better, the opposition - fighting for survival - was clinical.

The end of the month of April left us feeling regretful and tired; May has also started off on the wrong foot, but the team must react as soon as possible. It is a crucial stage of the season to try and reach the playoffs, a position that AC Milan oftens ends up in and who now need to make almost no mistakes to make up ground. After matchday 30 in Primavera 1, our team stays on 46 points in the table, two less than Torino who occupy the final spot. There are three matches to go, and we must believe and try to make up for it starting on Monday afternoon with a trip to Lecce.

    MATCH REPORT
It was a quiet start, with the rain also affecting proceedings. The first yellow cards of the game brought some life to the contest. On their first attack forward, Bologna struck, in the 14th minute, with Byar playing Ebone through the middle who – all alone - made no mistake in front of goal. AC Milan's reaction was good: Zeroli shot at goal but it hit his teammate, Camarda, on 18 minutes; Simić moved forward with the ball, set up Bartesaghi, whose shot was blocked by Bagnolini after 22 minutes; and Malaspina’s effort was off-target in the 23rd minute. But right when we were getting on top, our opponents once again showed their ruthless touch: in the 24th minute, Ebone grabbed his second of the game by heading Menegazzo's cross past Nava. In the 36th minute, after Sia’s effort brought nothing, Camarda had a great opportunity to get us back in the game, smashing one against the face of the post with a right-footed volley. Such a shame. 2-0 at half-time.

Liberali came on at half-time with the hope of turning things around. The match, however, soon became slow and bitty, playing into the Rossoblù’s wait-and-see-what-happens attitude. Tough to play and create anything of note, the Rossoneri didn’t complete many attacking moves: in the 53rd minute, Camarda beat the goalkeeper to the ball, but his attempt went wide, and Zeroli hit a weak shot at goal on 67 minutes. However, the substitutions of Bakoune and, in particular, Bonomi changed something. And it was Alessandro himself, immediately into the thick of it, who reduced the deficit in the 75th minute: from a ball forward by Scotti, he sweetly slotted home past Bagnolini. Game on, but it was not enough. After 78 minutes, Nava kept out Baroncioni's free kick and in the final stages the Diavolo pushed forward but without any real threat: Liberali tried his luck both in the 85th and 92nd minute with shots that deflected behind for corners. It ended 2-1.
