A second consecutive draw in the championship for Milan Primavera, who took a point away from Atalanta in the match that closed the first half of the 2024/25 Primavera 1 championship. The 1-1 final scoreline was the result of a goal in each half: Simonetto's penalty in the first half was answered by Lorenzo Ossola's goal at the start of the second half. A fair result for the morning match in Bergamo, reflecting a good reaction from Mister Guidi's boys, who came out strong in the second half.

It was an irregular match, at times intense and other times bland, with the two teams probably suffering from the fatigue of the midweek round of the Coppa Italia. The Rossoneri, who lined up with the same starting eleven seen against Lazio, put on a good response, especially from the substitutes as the game progressed: a special mention to Sala. Our Primavera has secured a place near the top of the standings at the halfway point of the season, with the return leg kicking off next week with an important big match. On Sunday 19 January (11:00 CET), the PUMA House of Football will host AC Milan v Fiorentina.

    MATCH REPORT
Lively start in Alzano Lombardo, with continuous pressing from the hosts. The first chance for the Rossoneri came in the 8th minute when Șiman's centralised shot was blocked for a corner. However, the hosts stepped up their initiative, with Arrigoni hitting the crossbar with a header in the 17th minute and shortly after, in the 19th minute, Longoni blocking Armstrong's attempt on two occasions. The pace dropped after the first 20 minutes, with Guidi's team trying to shift the mood of the match. The 38th minute was a moment that changed the match: contact in the area between Colombo and Riccio, and Simonetto beat Longoni from the penalty spot for the 1-0 lead. The Nerazzurri's goal did not change the leitmotif of the first half, as only at the end of the added time did the Rossoneri make themselves dangerous from a corner, without hitting the target.

We restarted with two substitutions (Ossola and Albè) in addition to Sala's entry in the first half, and the reaction was immediate with Bonomi hitting the far post in the 47th minute. It was not just a flash in the pan, as shortly afterwards there was an equaliser: Ossola's shot hit the crossbar, and Paloschi scored on the rebound. The goal sparked the Rossoneri, who attacked more decisively, and in the 50th minute Scotti made a beautiful attempt in the box. On the other side, the hosts responded and after 53 minutes Longoni made a great reflex save to deny Riccio. After these intense minutes, little happened in the rest of the second half: the Rossoneri had a couple of interesting attempts from Victor and Ossola for Bonomi but they did not lead to shots on target. The last shot came during the added time, but Damiano's attempt was off by a whisker: it ended 1-1.
