Three goals for three important points: February has begun in the best way possible for AC Milan Primavera, who beat Bologna on matchday 23 in the Primavera 1 division. In challenging conditions, the team, who continue to grow week after week, came away with a 3-1 victory. After the teams had gone into the break on level terms - Liberali opened the scoring for the Rossoneri before Addessi’s equaliser for Bologna - the three points arrived thanks to two quick-fire goals from Comotto (61’) and Scotti (63’).
Guidi’s side were excellent in terms of their game management: they were impeccable in their reading of play and responded well to their only difficult spell, more specifically the final 15 minutes of the first half. Everyone performed well, starting with the goalscorers: Scotti bagged his ninth league goal of the season, while Comotto and Liberali both found the net for the second time this campaign. Thanks to this result at the PUMA House of Football, the Rossoneri have consolidated their position in the play-off zone and continue to pursue those above them. Now, a thrilling week awaits: first, there’s the Coppa Italia quarter-final clash against Inter, and then the Diavolo will come up against Juventus. Forza Milan!

The match was undoubtedly affected by the rain over Milan, with the playing surface inevitably heavy. The Rossoneri made a strong start, and, after two chances for Bonomi (5’) and Liberali (7’), took the lead in the 15th minute, with the latter finishing off a fast counter-attack with a powerful left-footed strike. The goal opened the scoring but also slowed the game down: possession alternated between the two teams, but the wet pitch meant it was difficult to move the ball around. As a result, there was little goalmouth action - thanks also in part to AC Milan controlling the game well - for the rest of the opening half an hour. Then, in the final 15 minutes of the first half, the visitors came to life. After an attempt from Ravaglioli, Bologna equalised through an Addessi header from a corner.
AC Milan had the first chance of the second half, with Happonen keeping out a right-footed effort from Comotto. Scotti then had two opportunities in quick succession, narrowly firing wide from a corner (56’) and with a fantastic acrobatic effort (59’). The Rossoneri deservedly doubled their advantage in the 61st minute, with Bakoune setting up Comotto to score with a close-range header. Less than two minutes later, Magni started a Rossoneri counter-attack and picked out Scotti, who beat Happonen to add a third. With 71 minutes on the clock, Magni tested the visiting goalkeeper with a venomous right-footed shot from the edge of the box, after which the Rossoneri comfortably kept Bologna at bay in the closing stages.
