A DRAW IN THE CAPITAL FOR THE PRIMAVERA

Lazio v AC Milan finished 1-1 on Matchday 10 of the Primavera 1 league. The match in Rome was decided early on, with both goals coming in the opening fifteen minutes: Muñoz's opener for the hosts was cancelled out by captain Scotti. A fair result overall – the Rossoneri will rue a missed penalty from Mancioppi, while Lazio were denied a late winner thanks to a brilliant save from Alessandro Bianchi. 

The 2009-born goalkeeper, standing in for Longoni (away at the U17 World Cup along with Lontani and Pandolfi) marked his debut in style. Today's draw extends Renna's side unbeaten run to seven matches and keeps them close to a Playoff position, confirming the character and quality of a team capable of competing even on tough grounds. MATCH REPORT
Lazio started brightly despite a couple of early AC Milan moves, and their pressing paid off in the 9th minute when Muñoz's left-footed strike left Bianchi with no chance. The Rossoneri responded quickly, and in the 16th minute captain Scotti levelled with a fine header from Ossola's right-wing cross. Scotti went close again soon after, his shot-cross flashing just wide. The game stayed lively but without clear chances until the 43rd minute, when Bordoni's challenge on Mancioppi earned Milan a penalty, but the forward's effort was saved by Bosi's outstretched foot.

After the break, AC Milan threatened again in the 55th minute as Mancioppi won back possession and teed up Scotti, whose curling strike flew just wide with the keeper beaten. Lazio grew stronger after a series of substitutions, and Bianchi produced a stunning reflex save on the line to deny Pernaselci in the 77th minute. Both sides pushed in the closing stages, with Primavera debuts for Angelicchio and Viana Seedorf among the positives for AC Milan, but the score remained 1–1 after a long period of added time.
