THE WEEKEND'S SCHEDULE: U15, THE FINAL ACT

    Youth TeamsJune 19th 2026

A strong AC Milan side was up against a resilient Juventus: it ended 1-2 at the Sportitalia Village. After the Rossoneri took the lead with Scotti's superb goal, the Bianconeri responded with a late goal from Biggi to secure their comeback. Giovanni Renna's side had come off a 1-1 draw with Lazio, another impressive performance from the young Rossoneri, but with only one point to show for it. Today, the pattern was further affirmed: a very strong first half full of character, momentum, and drive, and many ball recoveries in the opponent's final third. However, the second half saw AC Milan gradually slow down, giving Simone Padoin's Juventus an opportunity to strike when the Rossoneri's intensity had fallen.

A disappointing result. AC Milan played well for over an hour but then lost their momentum, conceding to long balls in the final fifteen minutes: it began with a penalty, saved by Bouyer, and Biggi's decisive goal. Filippo Scotti took the limelight with this constant pressing, scoring a very memorable goal. The team stays in their mid-table spot and will have to stay consistent to climb to the top. Next up is a trip to Florence to play Fiorentina, a true test of maturity to pick up points and momentum again.

    MATCH REPORT
An explosive start at the Sportitalia Village: in the sixth minute, AC Milan took the lead with a superb goal from Scotti, who drove it in from the left and finished with a precise right-footed shot into the far corner for an early 1-0. Two minutes later, another incredible Rossoneri move saw a long ball to Ossola, a well-timed backheel to Scotti, who was free, but his close-range shot was denied by a brilliant save from Radu. Juventus reorganised and hit back in the 20th minute to secure their equaliser. Bamballi delivered the cross, Mancioppi nodded it on, and Grelaud controlled the ball, shifted onto his left foot, and fired a powerful ball home to level the score at 1-1.  The Rossoneri continued to be the more dangerous side. In the 27th minute, Scotti, unmarked in the box, dragged his shot wide. Three minutes later, Plazzotta found his way through Juventus' defence, but his finish lacked power; in the 32nd minute, Mancioppi's turn-shot was fired straight into the hands of the keeper, and four minutes later, Scotti's header from Ossola's cross was just off target. The score remained 1-1 at halftime.

The second half kicked off with pace. In just the 53rd minute, Ossola found Scotti in the box: his clever pass on the outside of his foot released Mancioppi, but he wasn't ready and missed the opportunity. Three minutes later, AC Milan pressed high: Mancioppi delivered a sharp cross, which Vallana got a touch on, deflecting it and narrowly avoiding an own goal. In the 64th minute, Perera sent in a long ball, Plazzotta chased the second ball and fired, only for a deflection to send it out for a corner. Four minutes later, a quick break saw Scotti slip the ball to Tartaglia, who cut in and fired a shot that hit the crossbar. Five minutes later, a mistake from Scotti gave way to a key chance for Bellino, but his effort was easily saved by Bouyer. In the last fifteen minutes, AC Milan lost momentum, and Juventus became increasingly dominant. In the 77th minute, Juventus won a penalty: Merola stepped up, but Bouyer denied him to keep the score level. The final blow came in the 88th minute as a vertical pass split the defence. Nolli stretched to intercept but failed to stop Biggi, who finished with composure to make it 1-2, deciding the game.
