This afternoon, the Primavera were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw away to Bologna. Giovanni Renna's Rossoneri, coming off a 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona, took the lead in the 24th minute thanks to a brilliant piece of play from Simone Lontani, who scored his seventh goal of the season. However, the team's determined defending wasn't enough to secure all three points, with Lo Monaco equalising in stoppage time for Stefano Morrone's side. Despite the late disappointment, the Rossoneri showed once more that they can hurt teams up front and remain solid at the back. The unbeaten run continues, though there is some regret over the points dropped along the way.

After an excellent first half, marked by intensity and crisp build-up play from the back, AC Milan were forced to dig in after the break against a Bologna side that grew into the game, piling on pressure through set-pieces and balls into the box until their 93rd-minute equaliser. Renna will be pleased with a couple of standout individual moments: Longoni's incredible save to keep out N'Diaye's header, and Lontani's brilliant piece of skill to create space for his goal. Today's draw keeps AC Milan in the top half of the table and just outside the playoff zone. The Rossoneri now turn their attention to their next match at home to Parma, with a clear objective: getting back to winning ways.

    MATCH REPORT
It was an even start to proceedings at the Granarolo Youth Center. In the 17th minute, Toroc got past the outrushing Longoni and squared the ball to Castillo, who was denied by a last-ditch sliding block from Perera. AC Milan grew into the game and took the lead in the 24th minute: Ossola won the ball on the edge of the box and found Lontani, who shifted the ball onto his left with a wonderful piece of skill before placing it into the net. Bologna almost responded through Toroc, who forced a save from Longoni (28') and fired over on the half-volley after controlling the ball well with the outside of his boot (31'). In the 45th minute, Plazzotta whipped in a cross and Di Siena rose unmarked in the centre of the box, but his header drifted over. One minute into stoppage time, Lo Monaco finished off a through ball from Toroc, but the goal was ruled out for offside. AC Milan went into the break ahead.

After the restart, Bologna pushed hard for an equaliser, while AC Milan sat deep to protect their lead, always looking to hit the hosts on the counter. A 49th-minute effort from Lontani was saved by Gnudi, with Mancioppi's follow-up striking Tomasevic. In the 57th minute, Longoni saved a long-range attempt from Lo Monaco. A minute later, Scotti burst forward and picked out Lontani, who, completely unmarked in the middle of the box, steered it wide. On the hour mark, Bologna came inches away from levelling: N'Diaye's header from Papazov's cross was brilliantly touched onto the bar by Longoni, and the Rossoneri defence scrambled clear. In the 74th minute, Lai stretched to meet Negri's ball but was unable to direct it on target. Five minutes later, Vladimirov couldn't quite convert from a corner. Bologna's late siege finally paid off in the 93rd minute: Lo Monaco controlled inside the area, turned, and beat Longoni to make it 1-1.
