After five consecutive positive results in the league, Milan Primavera suffered a defeat in the final round of the first half of the season. The Rossoneri went down 1-0 to Torino, who took the win thanks to Zeppieri’s goal at the end of the first half. A well-deserved victory for the Granata, who created more chances in a game that was otherwise low on goal opportunities, with Renna’s players likely also feeling a bit of fatigue after the midweek Coppa Italia match.
A setback that prevents AC Milan from continuing the excellent form they enjoyed in December, as a win would have meant catching up to the Playoff zone in a table that remains tight and climbable. There will still be plenty of opportunities to move past today’s result and resume a run that has so far been undeniably positive, with many young players showing steady growth throughout the season. The next chance to bounce back will come on Friday 16th, when we host Fiorentina at 14:00 CET in Carate Brianza.

MATCH REPORT
The game started at a high pace, but the first real chance came after 10 minutes: Zeppieri and Kugyela had two quick attempts that didn’t trouble Longoni. At the 24th minute, Perciun curled a dangerous shot just wide, and the Rossoneri tried again between the 27th and 29th minutes with Pandolfi, whose two long-range efforts were stopped by Siviero. A great chance came in the 33rd minute when Castiello’s forward recovery set up Scotti, blocked by the Granata defense. The end of the first half favoured Torino, who, after chances from Bonacina and Zeppieri, broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute. Zeppieri controlled the ball in the box and slotted it past Longoni with a right-footed finish.
The Rossoneri came out with a completely different attitude in the second half, pushing higher up the pitch. Torino, however, defended in an organised manner, and until the hour mark the only chance came from Lontani’s central shot in the 57th minute. Perciun couldn’t trouble Longoni at the 65th, and Zeppieri’s left-footed effort a minute later went over the bar. Both coaches tried to change the game with substitutions, and in the final 15 minutes the intensity increased, but chances remained scarce. In the 83rd minute, Longoni was alert to deny Zeppieri and Pellini, and AC Milan’s late surge in the five minutes of stoppage time couldn’t alter the score. The match ended 1-0 to Torino.
