Davide Bartesaghi was born in Erba on 29 December 2005 and, after early experiences in the Atalanta youth setup, joined the AC Milan "Pulcini" in 2012. With the Rossoneri he climbed the entire youth-team ladder, reaching the Primavera in 2022/23, when he was a key figure in the side that qualified for the UEFA Youth League Final Four. He was promoted to the First Team in the summer of 2023 and the following season he split his time between the Primavera (with whom he reached the Youth League Final and the Scudetto Play-offs) and the senior side under Pioli, making his Serie A debut on 23 September against Hellas Verona and his Champions League debut in the win at Newcastle on 13 December.

By the end of 2024/25 he had made 14 appearances across all competitions with Milan, in addition to a formative experience with Milan Futuro (31 matches and his first professional goal, against Legnago). He became a regular part of the First Team rotation in 2025/26, establishing himself as a starter under Allegri and ending the season with two goals (both against Sassuolo) in 33 total appearances. Also worth noting his journey with Italy: after playing for every age group from the Under-18s to the Under-21s (including the 2024 Under-19 European Championship), he made his senior debut in June 2026 in the friendlies against Luxembourg and Greece.
