He may not have scored like he did against Roma, although he did put the ball in the back of the net before Suso’s goal, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside, but he still had an excellent game. He put in a performance full of quality, a real “Hernández” performance which the Rossoneri fans have become accustomed to. They appreciate these performances and that was reflected as he was voted as the MVP of AC Milan v SPAL by the Rossoneri fans ahead of Suso (whose goal won the match for Milan), Paquetá and Bennacer.
The French full-back was the standout player at San Siro as he racked up the kilometres running up and down the wing. He was a constant threat for the SPAL defence with his crosses from the left and proved once again that he really is a valuable asset for Coach Pioli going forward. He’s in great shape and full of confidence, so let’s see more of the same Theo!
