Deservedly so after both his performance and goal, Bonaventura won the vote for your MVP from Bologna v AC Milan. Jack, also our Man of the Match for the game against Napoli, just pipped Piątek to it with 38% over our runner-up’s 32%. Hernández (18%) and Bennacer (12%) came in third and fourth respectively. Last night was Bonaventura’s fifth appearance of the season, his fourth in a row in the starting line-up, and what an appearance it was from a true leader in the side.
Our Rossoneri number 5 has been bursting with technique and character since his return to the side, and is proving to be an essential and decisive player who can dictate the game with both his quality and intelligence. As always, he was at the heart of our attacking play at the Dall’Ara, even grabbing a vital goal just after half-time which proved decisive for the three points. He made it 3-1 with his ‘weaker’ left foot: a delightful finish which left Skorupski with no chance. Top work Jack!
