It was a landslide victory, an overwhelming verdict. Zlatan Ibrahimović won the MVP award from AC Milan's 4-1 win away at Sampdoria, receiving the majority of votes on the Official AC Milan App. The Swede picked up a whopping 79.4% of the vote, beating Donnarumma (10.4%), Çalhanoğlu (845%) and Hernández (1.7%). It was a champion's performance; high class, strong, full of quality. Once again, Ibra dominated out on the pitch and pulled the whole squad towards the victory. A complete appearance.
The simplest of numbers, also the most important, read: two goals scored, the second consecutive brace away from home, an assist to Çalhanoğlu for the Rossoneri's second on the night. More generally speaking, Zlatan scored his quickest goal in an AC Milan shirt (after just three minutes and 22 seconds) and he's played the least amount of games (17) among those players, who've scored at least eight Serie A goals this season. He has also drawn level with Francesco Graziani in 40th position on the all-time goalscorers list in Serie A (having netted 131 times in the competition throughout his career). He's 38 years of age, but he certainly doesn't seem it...
