ÇALHANOĞLU MVP FROM AC MILAN V BODØ/GLIMT

Two goals and an assist: another great performance from Hakan

Welcome to planet Çalhanoğlu. Number of inhabitants: just one, him to be precise. With a decisive performance that saw him score twice and provide an assist, he’s the MVP from AC Milan v Bodø/Glimt, with the Rossoneri emerging victorious in their second European outing of the season. Hakan has now bagged three goals in 2020/21, all of which came in the Europa League, while he’s also set up a teammate to score on two occasions: Ibra in Dublin and Colombo yesterday evening, thanks to which AC Milan momentarily took a 2-1 lead against the Norwegians.

He remained on the pitch for 90 minutes, was always in the thick of the action and certainly made his mark. He had 82 touches, completed 48 passes, had three shots on target and constantly added quality to the Rossoneri’s link-up play. With almost 90% of the vote share, he was the clear winner and has thus received another MVP award after also being the Diavolo’s best performer in Shamrock Rovers v AC Milan. Well done, Hakan. Keep it up!
