Another performance as a leader, of his department and of the team. Against Genoa at San Siro, Simon Kjær raised the level of the Rossoneri rearguard, playing a fundamental role in the home win. In addition to successfully containing the Ligurian strikers, he repeatedly pushed forward, coming very close to scoring with a header at the beginning of the second half.
Simon’s match highlight, however, came in the 86th minute, when he stood tall on the goal-line to deny Masiello a late equaliser. After our number 24 came to the rescue, Tomori produced a block on Behrami, securing the result. An action as important as a goal and one that, in the eyes of our fans, secures his status as the MVP from AC Milan v Genoa. Bravo Simon!
