TONALI MVP FROM ATALANTA V AC MILAN

A goal to double the Rossoneri's advantage and much more: an excellent evening for Sandro

A fantastic display where he showed character, heart, spirit and no fear. Alongside the extremely solid Franck Kessie, Sandro Tonali dominated the middle of the park during Atalanta v AC Milan, building on his wonderful start to the season. He didn't just find the net, he also made a crucial intervention to deny Malinovskyi with the score at 1-0. Sandro performed his defensive duties diligently, constantly providing cover. As for the attacking side of things, he combined bursts forward with composure, as was the case when he doubled the Rossoneri's advantage. His pressing led to the goal, his second in an AC Milan shirt.

The 21-year-old put up big numbers in Bergamo during the 80 minutes he spent on the pitch, scoring once, making 32 successful passes and recovering the ball on seven occasions. Such figures were the result of his attitude and the fact he remained calm, was constantly involved and made the right choices during the delicate moments of the match. Sandro is growing day by day, game by game, and he was also our best performer in Atalanta v AC Milan. Nothing but applause.
