SAELEMAEKERS IS THE MVP FROM AC MILAN v SALERNITANA

Alexis received the highest vote share from the Rossoneri faithful after the 2-0 win at San Siro

Almost a year had passed, almost an entire league season. A goal from Alexis Saelemaekers had been missing since December 2020 or, more precisely, 35 matches. Finally, against Salernitana, the Belgian returned to the scoresheet, after which he dedicated his finish to Simon Kjær. It was a great goal, too, with the 22-year-old producing a precise left-footed strike from a tight angle that landed in the far bottom corner. In making it 2-0, Saelemaekers made life easier for the team, who were well on their way to victory very early on. Thanks to his finish and, on top of that, his excellent performance, our fans voted him as the MVP from AC Milan 2-0 Salernitana.

Alexis picked up almost 50% of the vote share, finishing ahead of Kessie, Florenzi and Díaz. During the 93 minutes he spent on the pitch, Alexis scored with his only shot on target. Furthermore, he shot off target once, made 63 successful passes, recovered possession on six occasions, played five good long balls, created two chances and produced two lay-offs. That’s not all: in terms of crosses (three), successful dribbles (100%) and fouls won (two), he was the best Diavolo player on the pitch. A really positive performance, as proven by the numbers. Well done!
