MVP FOR MAY: OLIVIER GIROUD

Olivier Giroud is the latest MVP of the month in the Rossoneri's 2022/23 season. Thanks to the votes cast by Rossoneri fans on acmilan.com, the French striker won the award for matches played in May. A contribution that sealed a third consecutive  League qualification.

Four goals - against Sampdoria, with his first Rossoneri hat-trick, and Juventus - which helped bring his season tally (along with the goal scored on 4 June against Hellas Verona) to 18 goals between Serie A (13) and the Champions League (5). An excellent season marked by crucial goals to direct the Rossoneri's destiny.

Whether it was outings with lots of offensive chances, like the one against the Doriani, or games with a single chance like in Turin, it was the same. Olivier Giroud confirmed himself as the man for big goals, helping in the best possible way to overcome Champions League elimination. He did it in his own way, putting his signature on the three consecutive victories to end our season.

Three, like the number of monthly awards Giroud won in 2022/23: May, in fact, adds to the accolades already obtained in September and November. On this occasion, Olivier prevailed over three other Rossoneri stars of the month: Theo Hernández, Malick Thiaw and Sandro Tonali. Bravo, Oli!
