It was a positive afternoon for Serbia and our defender Strahinja Pavlović, who played the full 90 minutes in his country's 1-0 win over Latvia in Riga. The only goal of the game was scored by Vlahović in the twelfth minute. The victory takes Serbia to seven points in Group K as they look to keep pace with England, who currently sit top of the group with a perfect twelve points, albeit having played one game more.
Tuchel's England side beat Andorra 2-0 at Villa Park in Birmingham thanks to a Garcia own goal and a header from Rice. Ruben Loftus-Cheek, back in the squad after almost seven years, remained on the bench. Santi Gimenez and Chris Pulisic were both involved in friendlies: the former came on in the 61st minute of Mexico's goalless draw with Japan, while the latter stayed on for the full 90 in the United States' defeat to South Korea.
