Keeping possession without rushing, a smart start for the Rossoneri and then a couple of close-range raids: in the 13th minute Bartesaghi's cross for Stalmach ended up with an imperious but wide shot; in the 14th minute Masala’s shot found Nava's gloves. Then, Torres again: in the 18th minute Zambataro's volley missed the target, and in the 26th minute Guiebre's went wide. In between, AC Milan kept pressing. The game proceeded quietly with few chances in between. The Rossoblù returned to the attack: in the 31st minute Zambataro put in a weak shot, and in the 42nd minute Guiebre made a powerful attempt but with no accuracy. Half-time.
