On Matchday 9 of the 2026/27 Serie D season, Milan Futuro was denied victory in the final seconds by Club Milano, with the match ending 1-1. Asanji had given the Rossoneri the lead, scoring for the second consecutive game after his stunning backheel against ChievoVerona. Coach Navarro's side created chances and defended well throughout the match. With both a goal and a numerical advantage following Ferrante's dismissal early in the second half, the Rossoneri looked set for victory. However, Conti struck with virtually the last kick of the game to snatch an equalizer. The late setback cost Milan Futuro two points but did not take away from another encouraging performance, building on their recent displays.
The draw takes Milan Futuro to 13 points in the standings after seven games. The Rossoneri remain in the top half of the table, and they have two games in hand. However, the schedule is about to get even busier. In just three days, Milan Futuro will travel to face Pavonese before heading to Verona to take on Virtus on November 1. Two home fixtures will follow in quick succession, against Piacenza on November 4 and Virtus CiseranoBergamo on November 8. The focus now shifts to the next challenge as the Rossoneri look to build on their progress and continue improving.

MATCH REPORT
Milan Futuro made a physical start to the game, showing plenty of determination in the individual battles. The visitors had the first chance in the sixth minute, but Acella fired over the bar. Borsani then made a promising run down the left, sparking a strong spell for the hosts. The Rossoneri pushed forward in search of the opener and created several opportunities. Their pressure paid off in the 25th minute when Asanji rose highest to head home from a corner. It was his second goal in as many league games, following his strike against ChievoVerona. On the half-hour mark, Cappelletti's deflected cross forced Stucchi into a crucial save. From the resulting corner, Sala tried his luck with a volley but saw his effort blocked. The score remained unchanged until halftime, thanks in part to some confident goalkeeping from Pittarella and a vital intervention by Pagliei.
Just four minutes into the second half, Milan Futuro gained a numerical advantage as Ferrante was sent off for a heavy challenge on Borsani. Another physical spell followed before the Rossoneri began creating chances again. In the 66th minute, Cappelletti won possession from an opponent in his own half and surged forward on a solo run. His angled shot forced Stucchi to turn the ball behind for a corner. Captain Sala was left holding his head in disbelief in the 71st minute when a defender got a crucial touch on his curling right-footed effort, deflecting it wide. The hosts had another chance to double their lead in the 78th minute, but Bonomi failed to hit the target. In the 87th minute, substitute Borsa attempted an ambitious lob from distance, but Stucchi made the save. Just when Milan Futuro seemed set to claim all three points, the visitors snatched an unlikely equalizer. In the 90th minute, following a corner, substitute Conti reacted quickest to Pittarella's save and fired home to make it 1-1.
POST-MATCH REACTIONS
"We're pleased with the players' performance today," said Coach Navarro after the game. "We played well, especially in the first half. We need to learn to be smarter in certain situations. For example, we didn't make the most of our numerical advantage in the second half, and we ended up with a draw. Now we just have to keep working and improving. We're proud that several of our players have been called up to the First Team. It's also great to see younger players like Gabriele Borsa, who made his debut against Chievo and played again today, getting their first opportunities with Milan Futuro. Our daily work is focused on developing young talent and supporting players as they continue to grow."
