CONCEIÇÃO: "CONCENTRATED FROM THE FIRST MINUTE"

On Friday night, the Rossoneri are back in action in the league, out in east Italy. Udinese v AC Milan will be on Matchday 32, and it will be a great chance to get back to winning ways, and to climb the table. Ahead of the away trip, Sérgio Conceição spoke in his press conference at Milanello.

PERFORMANCE AGAINST NAPOLI AND FIORENTINA
"We need to understand that matches are won from the first minute to last, we will need to be concentrated from the off. We've always reacted but it's difficult to win when you start like this. I don't like five or six goal games, I like compactness and solidity. We are working on the consistency that we need for the whole 90 minutes". 

THE CLASH IN UDINE
"We need to concentrate on the match without looking at the table, there are three points up for grabs. It's been a good week for us, I'm pleased with the way we've trained, I have seen good things. We hope that the match is a reflection of our work throughout the week". 

MAIGNAN AND EPISODES FROM LAST SEASON
"We're all behind Mike, he needs to concentrate on the game: we're not worried and neither is he. If further episodes occur, they will be dealt with by the appropriate authorities". 

TWO UP TOP FROM THE FIRST MINUTE
"We're thinking about different formations, 4-4-2 is one of my favourites but we're not balanced and solid enough yet to play with two up top. We can also be attacking with just one forward". 

CHANGES AT THE BREAK
"I don't just put players on the pitch to take them off at half time. I make my decisions based off what I see during the week, but the game plan can change, especially if we go behind". 

INJURIES
"Walker got injured during training. Santi Gimenez hasn't recovered and won't feature. Florenzi has a great spirit, he helps us a lot but he is being managed and I hope he gets back to full fitness soon".
