"It's an important day for our Club. We decided to change Head Coach and to inject fresh ideas into the Club. We met and spoke with many people, selecting the best to build an even stronger organisation and help reshape the Club's culture. We have to take AC Milan back to where it belongs. We have to get back to competing for trophies. We want to play attractive and attacking football. This is the beginning of a new chapter. We are delighted to have Rúben Amorim as our Head Coach and to have put our current management structure in place. I’m now taking a leading role after working behind the scenes for a long time. "I feel a great sense of pleasure and responsibility in terms of being here, I was looking for a challenge like this. QUALITY AND WINS
"The quality of our football will be crucial because the Serie A is extremely demanding. We want to dominate games and win, with players who are strong in one-on-one situations. We have many objectives ahead of us. I won't make many promises, our actions will matter most. There will be obstacles, but we want to be ambitious. I love Milanello; it's an exceptional place. My experiences, including the mistakes I've made in the past, have made me a better Coach. It will be very important for me to learn Italian, and I promise I'll do so as soon as possible, above all out of respect for the fans. I value the human side of the game and personal relationships: by building a strong bond between the coaching staff and the players, it's much easier to achieve results".

"I'm happy with the squad and I want to get to know it thoroughly. We're working to bring in the best players to strengthen the team. Ramos is a top striker, his goal at the World Cup was outstanding. He has the qualities we're looking for and is exactly the kind of player that fits the team we want to build. We want Modrić to stay. I've already spoken to him and, for me, he remains a key reference point. I expect him to be back with us after his post-World Cup break. Pulisic has tremendous talent. He's a perfect fit for us and has shown he can make the difference in Italian football".
