AC Milan beats Lecce 3-0 on matchday five of the 2026/27 Serie A season, with goals from Pulisic, Rabiot and Moreira. The win was impressive thanks to the scoreline and overall dominance displayed by the Rossoneri throughout the 90 minutes. Coach Amorim's desire expressed in his pre-match press conference to play good football and win to give the fans something to celebrate and honour the centenary of San Siro was evident on the pitch. The Club also played its part before kick-off, with a performance combining images, music and a narration of the many emotions experienced at this stadium.
On an individual level, the match brought Christian Pulisic's first goal of the season, Rabiot's second and Moreira's third in consecutive league matches, following his brace away to Lazio. With this victory, AC Milan moves up to 11 points in the standings and maintains its unbeaten start to the Serie A season after five matches. First up after the international break is a trip to the MAPEI Stadium to face Sassuolo on 11 October.

LA CRONACA
The first real chance of the match fell to AC Milan in the 11th minute, with Ramos threading a pass through to Pulisic, who was denied by Falcone. The American's wait for a goal lasted just three more minutes, as he brought down a superb chipped pass from Pavlović over the top of the Lecce defence and scored to make it 1-0. Maignan safely gathered Gaspar's attempt in the 25th minute as the Giallorossi looked to respond. A run from Chukwueze and a header from Ramos then threatened the visitors again before half-time.
After the break, the hosts continued to dictate the tempo and came within inches of doubling the lead in the 56th minute. Rabiot delivered a cross and Pavlović headed into the net, but the assistant raised his flag. The second goal arrived in the 61st minute, with a fine team move finished by Rabiot at the near post. Lecce tried to respond again, but a crucial clearance from Estupiñan in the 65th minute kept the Giallorossi at bay. AC Milan then struck again: Moreira won the ball back from the visitors and raced through on his own before scoring his third league goal in his last two matches in the 73rd minute. The Rossoneri continued to attack, while Maignan kept the door firmly shut: it finished AC Milan 3-0 Lecce.
