Defence, midfield, attack. On the left or right. Torino and AC Milan are two teams with a different style but a clear tactical identity, as shown in the reverse fixture this season. The game at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino will have massive implications in the table especially for the Rossoneri but also for the Granata, who, following a turbulent start to the season, have nestled into a comfortable position in midtable since the arrival of Ivan Jurić. What's more, they certainly won't want to be outclassed by the league leaders. The game tomorrow night will also be defined by various important individual battles, such as the following:

    WILFRIED SINGO v DAVIDE CALABRIA
Let's start at two staple features on the right-hand side of defence for their two respective teams. The Granata man has made the most appearances for the Toro this season. Singo, who has chipped in with three goals and four assists in the current campaign, also has more attempted dribbles (67), duels (49) and fouls won (59) than any other Torino player. The young defender is somewhat of a talisman for Jurić; Torino have always won when Singo has scored. A similar thing can be said of Calabria, who opened the scoring away at both Atalanta and Bologna last autumn. Davide has rediscovered consistency in his performances, playing in each of the last nine games in the league, and his reliability could be key for the remaining matches this season.

    GLEISON BREMER v FIKAYO TOMORI
Sticking with defence, we now have a match-up of two of the best centre backs in the league this season. These are two stalwarts for their respective sides. The Brazilian has played the most minutes of any Granata player (2,458) and has made 28 appearances, all as a starter. He is also a leader for his team in other categories: passes completed in his own half, clearances, shots blocked and interceptions. Tomori's season has also been defined by some outstanding statistics. At the time of writing, he is the AC Milan player with the most passes (both in total and in his own half), duels, clearances, shots blocked and interceptions. Furthermore, Turin is a city that has been kind to the English defender, given that he scored his first - and only - Serie A goal in the Piedmontese capital last May against Juventus.

    ANDREA BELOTTI v OLIVIER GIROUD
Let's move forward and take a look at two number 9s - two players who have had a great career. This is a duel between a reigning European Champion and a reigning World Champion. The Granata captain has been unlucky with injury this season and has featured in just 16 of Torino's 31 matches so far in the league. However, Belotti has scored three of Torino's last four goals (including the winner from the penalty spot last time out against Salernitana) and has also scored their last two goals against AC Milan in Serie A (brace in September 2019). Giroud, meanwhile, has had a more prolific season, scoring eight goals in the league. When Giroud scores, in fact, the Rossoneri have always won and he has been in sublime form this season; the French striker has never gone more than three consecutive Serie A games without a goal. Having scored against Empoli, Cagliari and Bologna, let's hope that this trend continues and he gets closer to double figures in the league, which he hasn't achieved since 2016/17 with Arsenal.

    JOSIP BREKALO v RAFAEL LEÃO
We finish with two interesting talents, both of whom have made their way onto UEFA's 50 for the future list (Brekalo in 2019, Leão in 2020). The former Wolfsburg man joined Torino on deadline day of the transfer window last summer and has made the difference for Jurić's team. The Croatian is the club's current leading goalscorer this season with six goals, five of which have come at home, and has also attempted the most crosses (106) of any Granata player. Leão, who is having a terrific season, is also his Club's current top scorer in the current campaign with eight goals. In addition, he leads the way for the Rossoneri in terms of shots attempted (28 on target, 30 off target) and the most dribbles (124). The Portuguese star, however, hasn't scored in four league games and hasn't scored away from home in Serie A since 23 October (Bologna 2-4 AC Milan), so he will certainly be hoping to get back on the scoresheet in Turin.
