VILLA VALLE vs. MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW

The Serie D schedule is already moving quickly. After Wednesday’s home game and victory, Milan Futuro are ready to return to action on Sunday 20th September at 03:00 pm CEST, with their second away game of the season at Villa Valle. Matchday 4 in Group B will also bring the first league break, with the international break to follow. It is time for another Match Preview.

THE LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO
The Rossoneri return to action after their 2-1 win over Brusaporto, with goals from Castiello and Vos. Their second victory in Serie D 2026/27 moved them temporarily into third place, three points off the top. At Solbiate Arno, Coach Navarro's side created plenty of chances and often controlled the game, particularly in the first half, producing attacking and entertaining football. A less impressive second half provided an opportunity to identify areas for improvement. It is a young squad that continues to work hard to grow. 

THE LATEST FROM VILLA VALLE
So far, the Bergamo-based side have drawn every league game: 2-2 with Virtus Verona, 0-0 with Ciserano Bergamo and, most recently, 1-1 with Tritium. It has not been the perfect start, although the Villa d'Almè side have shown plenty of resilience. They remained in contention for the playoffs almost until the end of last season. They made a comeback on the opening day and secured a late equaliser in Trezzo a few days ago through Benzoni, a forward who joined in the summer. As for their transfer activity, Perrotti, a key figure for the club, has departed.

Andrea Senes of the Cagliari section has been appointed as the referee. Pisu and Puddu will be the assistant referees. 

Matchday 4 in Group B will take place almost entirely on Sunday 20th September at 03:00 pm CEST. Alongside the Rossoneri's game, the fixtures are Brusaporto vs. Fiorenzuola, Caldiero Terme vs. Scanzorosciate, Club Milano vs. Virtus Verona, Pavonese vs. Tritium, Piacenza vs. Real Calepina, Pro Palazzolo vs. Nibbiano & Valtidone and Rovato Vertovese vs. Leon. On Monday 21st September at 08:45 pm CEST, ChievoVerona vs. Virtus Ciserano Bergamo will complete the matchday.
