BEST ASSIST 2021/22: MAIGNAN WINS IT

It's rather an unusual award for a goalkeeper to win, but Magic Mike is also capable of this. Indeed, it is his assist that has been voted as the best of the season, thanks to the stunning pass that perfectly picked out a forward-running Rafael Leão, that got the only goal of the game in the home win against Sampdoria. It was a vital assist in a crucial win in February, where the three points importantly backed up the comeback in the derby win the week before. It was a tricky and tight game, and with what was at stake, Mike's intuition was enough to bring home the win. 

Beaten in the final was his team-mate Alexis Saelemaekers, after voting took place on AC Milan social channels. Well done Mike! The trophy is yours.
