A comeback with his name all over it. The MVP of Lazio 2-2 AC Milan was Diego Moreira, the standout performer in the 2-2 draw at the Olimpico and the symbol of the Rossoneri's second-half response. Introduced at half-time alongside Musah and Pulisic, the Belgian winger gave the game fresh impetus with energy, quality and incisiveness. On a difficult evening for AC Milan during the opening 45 minutes, his introduction gave the team a new lease of life, allowing them to turn the momentum of the match around after going two goals down in the first half.
The brace earned the Rossoneri a crucial point against a side who are in good form. Before the match at the Olimpico, he had never scored more than once in a single game in any of Europe's five major leagues. It was an unforgettable night for Diego, who inspired the comeback and was the deserved MVP of the match, receiving more than 90% of the votes, ahead of Pulisic and Musah, who were also instrumental in the team's excellent second-half performance.
