Christian Pulisic is the MVP of AC Milan vs. Lecce. The American forward earned the AC Milan fans' vote as the standout performer in the 3-0 win at San Siro. He delivered a complete display of quality, incisiveness, and impact at key moments.
After coming off the bench to provide an assist against Lazio, Pulisic made an immediate impact in his first start of the season. He opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a superb piece of play, controlling Pavlović's pass into the box before beating Falcone with his left foot. The opening goal rewarded AC Milan's bright start and set the tone for the rest of the evening.
His influence on AC Milan's attack extended well beyond the goal. In the second half, Christian started the move for the second with an elegant backheel to Rabiot, who then combined with Ramos before finding the net. Constantly involved in the build-up, our No. 11 once again underlined his importance to Amorim's attacking setup.
Pulisic finished ahead of the other two goalscorers, Adrien Rabiot and Diego Moreira (the latter the MVP of Lazio vs. AC Milan), as well as Luka Modrić, who dictated the tempo and made his presence felt at both ends of the field. Congratulations, Christian!
