EUROPA LEAGUE: AC MILAN FACE MANCHESTER UNITED

The urn in Nyon has drawn the pairings for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League: AC Milan, after having qualified by beating Crvena zvezda thanks to a double draw (2-2 in Belgrade, 1-1 at San Siro), will face Manchester United. The English side beat Real Sociedad in the last round (4-0 and 0-0). In the league the Red Devils are second in the standings with 49 points after 25 matchdays, ten points from the top spot currently occupied by their "cousins", City.

The first leg of the second knockout round of the cup, in which the Rossoneri play at Old Trafford in Manchester, is scheduled for Thursday 11 March at 18:55 CET, while the second leg, when the Diavolo will be on stage at San Siro is scheduled for Thursday 18 March at 21:00 CET. The draw for the quarterfinals will take place on the following day.
