AC Milan have done the Serie A double over four teams this season, winning both home and away, for a total of 24 points in eight games. We're talking about Brescia, Parma, Bologna and Cagliari. Both games against Brescia ended with the Rossoneri winning 1-0: Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored at San Siro and Ante Rebić at the Rigamonti.
The Rossoneri probably struggled the most against Parma. Theo Hernández's late goal gave AC Milan the win at the Tardini and then they come from behind at San Siro, overturning Kurtić's opener.
On the other hand. AC Milan bagged a fair few goals against Bologna. Three at the Dall'Ara and five at San Siro, for a total of eight, all scored by eight different players: Piątek, Theo Hernández, Bonaventura, Saelemaekers, Çalhanoğlu, Bennacer, Rebic and Calabria. It's worth noting as well, the Cagliari are the only side, against whom Ibra scored in both the home and away fixtures.
Head-to-heads against teams close to the Rossoneri were promising as well, even though there was no need to resort to it while sorting out the final places. The fact remains that, after the season, AC Milan have a positive account against Juventus, Lazio and Roma, and against Napoli too thanks to overall goal difference after draws at both the San Siro and San Paolo.
