#PROUDOFYOU: SEASON REVIEW, PART TWO

2019 was an impressive year for AC Milan Women’s First Team, albeit with some hiccups along the way. During the second half of the Serie A season, the Rossonere came up short against various rivals, thus leading to their final league position. While the race for the Scudetto and Champions League qualification remained very much up for grabs up until the final day of the season, Milan eventually finished third. As for the Coppa Italia, the team’s journey also ended with silverware just out of sight, with the Rossonere eliminated at the semi-final stage. It was a historic and exciting season nonetheless, with the girls completing what was their first-ever campaign.
