AC Milan is set to take on Hellas Verona on Serie A matchday 17, on 28 December 2025 at 12:30 CET at San Siro. The Rossoneri, led by coach Allegri, aim to strengthen their position in the standings, while the team coached by Zanetti looks to climb up the ranks. As the league intensifies, every point becomes crucial for both teams. We approach kick-off with our Match Preview.

    LATEST FROM MILANELLO
AC Milan comes into this match following a 2-2 draw against Sassuolo in Serie A, and a 2-0 defeat to Napoli in the Super Cup. The Rossoneri have shown good form in the league, maintaining a positive streak of results. Despite the recent setback in the Supercoppa, Allegri's side is determined to get back to winning ways in Serie A. The clash against Hellas Verona is an opportunity to demonstrate the team's resilience and ability to overcome challenges. Matteo Gabbia, Rafa Leão and Santi Gimenez are still out.

"There are three important points up for grabs", said Massimiliano Allegri in his press conference on the eve of the match. "We will need to put in an organised team performance, with patience. Verona are a tough side to face, they have quick players and attack well: we'll need to be solid at the back".

    LATEST FROM HELLAS VERONA
Hellas Verona arrives at San Siro after a 2-1 victory against Fiorentina in Serie A. Zanetti's team has shown signs of improvement, securing two consecutive wins against Atalanta and the Viola. Despite a fluctuating start to the season, the Gialloblù are seeking consistency in their results. The clash against AC Milan is an important test and one that will allow for the team to measure their ambitions as they continue to climb the table, away from the relegation zone. Benghazi and Frese are suspended (as is coach Paolo Zanetti), Akpa-Akpro and Suslov are both injured. However, Bradarić is back in the ranks and available to play.

    PRE-MATCH NUMBERS

    • AC Milan has won all of the last nine matches against Hellas Verona in the league with a score of 19-6; so far, only against three teams have the Rossoneri achieved at least 10 consecutive wins in their Serie A history: against Chievo (13), Novara (10), and Pescara (10).
    • AC Milan has fallen behind in all of the last four official matches (against Lazio in the Coppa Italia, against Torino and Sassuolo in Serie A, against Napoli in the Italian Super Cup), after having fallen behind only twice in the first 15 matches of this season across all competitions (against Cremonese and Fiorentina in the league).
    • After the defeat against Napoli in the Italian Super Cup semi-final, AC Milan could lose two consecutive matches in national competitions with Massimiliano Allegri on the bench for only the third time in five seasons under the Tuscan coach, after September 2012 (against Atalanta and Udinese in Serie A) and October 2012 (also in the league, against Inter and Lazio).
