September comes to an end on a positive note for AC Milan, as the team remains unbeaten at the start of the 2026/27 season. It has been a month of confirmation and new players playing a key role, both at San Siro and away from home. Four players are in the running for the September MVP award: Alphadjo Cisse, Diego Moreira, Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot. Who will be the Rossoneri’s player of the month?

Starting with the new faces, it's hard to leave out Alphadjo Cisse. The young Italian did not take long to introduce himself: he scored on his debut against Torino and then found the net again in the same city against Juventus, scoring the goal that gave AC Milan the lead just a few minutes after coming on. Two goals in his first league appearances tell the story of a highly promising start.

Another of the new arrivals in this AC Milan side is Diego Moreira, who was the star of the comeback at the Olimpico against Lazio. Coming on in the second half with the Rossoneri 2-0 down, the Portuguese winger inspired the comeback with a brace scored within the space of just two minutes. The run continued against Lecce, when he scored the final goal in the 3-0 victory to make it three consecutive league matches with a goal. An immediate impact in his new adventure with AC Milan.

The other two candidates are established names, starting with Christian Pulisic. The number 11 began September by gradually working his way back onto the pitch, with his first minutes of the season coming against Lazio. His return to the starting XI against Lecce also coincided with his return to goalscoring form: he scored the opener at San Siro to set AC Milan on their way to victory. An important return for Coach Amorim's attack and another demonstration of the American's ability to make an impact in the final third.

Alongside Chris is Adrien Rabiot, who continued his strong start with a September that also saw him get on the scoresheet. After scoring in Turin, the Frenchman scored again against Lecce, finishing off a fine team move to make it 2-0. It's not just been about goals though: his presence in both phases, runs from deep and quality in midfield are all qualities that Adrien continued using to help the team throughout the first full month of the season.
