MVP FOR JANUARY: CHRISTIAN PULISIC

Not for the first time this season, and it won't be the last if his performances remain at this very high level. The Emirates MVP for the month of January, is Christian Pulisic, an award which arrives after a month of great performances and important goals. The Rossoneri's number 11 has scored in all competitions for AC Milan, during the first month of the year, making his impact known. 

Where better to start than with the two goals during the course of the Supercoppa in Riyadh. Firstly, his converted penalty against Juventus, which started the comeback in the Semi-final; and then the goal to make it 2-2 in the Final against Inter, the goal which created the groundwork to make it 3-2, with Tammy Abraham scoring the winner. A clear, decisive mark on the Rossoneri's 50th trophy. 

Christian Pulisic's January wasn't just about the Supercoppa Italiana, however. His sixth league goal of the season arrived, to put an end to a goal drought - in Serie A - that had lasted since October. The goal against Parma, coincided with a win; unfortunately, the same cannot be said about his goal in Zagreb against Dinamo. However, it allowed Chris to rewrite his own record for goal contributions in the Champions League. 

Excellent numbers, true leadership displayed from a player who is adored by Rossoneri fans. To claim his second MVP award of the season (the first of which came in September), he outperformed - alphabetically - Rafael Leão, Strahinja Pavlović, and Tijjani Reijnders. Well done, Chris!
