Valentina Donolato was born in Segrate on 28 February 2006 and joined the Rossoneri youth academy at the age of 10, where she developed as a player. As captain, she won the Under-17 Scudetto in the 2021/22 season and two seasons later repeated the feat as part of the team that clinched the Primavera Scudetto in 2023/24. She has also gained valuable experience with Italy's Under-19 national team. In the spring of 2025, she signed with first professional contract with AC Milan and will join the First Team from 2025/26 season.
